Five Finger Salute

So I've been away for awhile. I haven't kept up with the blog. And it's been a little bit. My mom even sent me an email the other day asking when I was gonna update it. Well World, I've had stuff to do. Like grow a beard. And break my cell phone. And read an entire book. And work out. And dance on the same dance floor as Tom Hank's offspring, thus giving me one miniscule degree of separation from Big star, Tom Hanks. (Note: these events actually occurred - except reading an entire book and working out.)

So I've been busy. But I won't say I haven't missed posting here. If I had my way, I'd be posting on this everyday. Actually, if I had my way, I'd get my wives Scarlett Johansson and Zooey Deschanel to post on it for me. Yeah that's right, if I had my way, I'd be a Mormon with fantasy actress wives, what's it to you? No, no, no. But I do wish I could post more frequently. This trend of not posting means I'm missing out on good, quality, uh, posting time, but it also means I'm missing out on cool things going on out there. I'm missing so much because of my "things to do"! Your birthday? Missed it. This season's
24? Missed it. The astronomical rise of gas prices? Well, I wouldn't say I'm missing that....HAHAHA (in all seriousness though, I couldn't have picked a better time to move to a city built on cheap public transportation...score!).

But as I perused the internet tonight and delved into some links on Rob Douglas' blog, I realized I missed a holiday I really would've enjoyed. And now I feel the loss, and hear the sound of one hand clapping - and sadly, not two as they swing towards each other. I'll take this as a gentle reminder to be more mindful and you should too. Next year, it's on.
