Hit Me One More Time because I'm Crazy and possibly Toxic

So the biggest news in the past few days is that Britney Spears has followed in the footsteps of Demi Moore, Natalie Portman, and Bela Lugosi and shaved her head. (This is the biggest news, unless you count things like an upcoming presidential election, and oh yeah, we're in a war) This "news" has saturated our media and has made it's way to all the papes' in New York (and by papes I'm referring to a term from that hit that is dear to my heart, Newsies).

It's not shocking that every news agency would have their say on Britney's newest antics. I think it's actually a little sad because she is maybe, as a friend of mine put it today, "possibly hitting rock bottom in front of everyone" (or trimming her hair for a local Fight Club - hey, either one, who knows?).

The NY Daily News gave this story front page headlines. If you look close at their headlines, one reads, "Experts say image in ruins".

Who are these "experts" the NY Daily News is hiring and questioning for their paper? You know, it takes an expert to do a lot of things - build a rocket, perform surgery...but I don't know if it takes an "expert" to judge this whole affair. I think a 6 month old or a small manatee could make this call acurately as well. Unless, the NY Daily News has recently employed manatees. Oh Daily News...you'll stop at NOTHING to get ahead of the competition!
